I attended the exclusive bloggers’ & media exclusive Judy Lin 林叶亭老师 beauty event held at Tampines 1 Atrium. Thanks to Louisa, Beauty Bistro and Sasa Cosmetics for the invite. I enjoyed the session tremendously. There were 2 sessions, 12pm and 3pm. Being an ardent fan of Judy Lin 林叶亭老师, I attended both sessions. I’m a hard-core fan of the Taiwan show, 女人我最大 so I’d definitely not miss this event.
Judy Lin (Lin Ye Ting) 林叶亭老师, Taiwan’s renowned 女人我最大 (Lady First) celebrity fashion & beauty stylist, will be here in town exclusively to share the valuable tips she’s gained over 20 years of fashion and beauty styling experience for top Chinese celebrities like Annie Yi, Sky Wu, Hu Gua and Chang Fei. Armed with an arsenal of SHILLS and ANOSA Cosmetics, she revealed red-carpet beauty tricks with live demonstrations.
During the first session, she shared with us demonstrations on slimming, hair care and whitening.
For the slimming demonstration, she presented the benefits of SHILLS Miracle-Lift 157% Body Contour Control and ANOSA Fit Patch.
She invited a female model and used SHILLS Miracle-Lift 157% Body Contour Control on the model’s arm. She confidently assured everyone that she is able to reduce the size of the arm by 2cm. She used the cream together with her massage technique and SHILLS Miracle-Lift Anti-cellulite Roller to massage the cream onto the arm. After which she wrapped the arm with a cling film for about 15 minutes. I tried the product and it gave a warm feeling after application and massage with the roller. The results were amazing, the model’s arm actually reduced by 3cm.
Next she invited a male model and used ANOSA Fit Patch on his arm, stomach n ankles. This product is meant to be used at night because the product can be applied on our body for 8 hours without any skin irritation. The texture of the patch is very cooling and provides good ventilation for the skin to reduce any possible side effects of skin irritation. The model commented that after putting on for around 15mins, he felt the area is getting warm and comfortable. This product is very good if we apply it in an air-conditioned room just before we sleep.
During the hair demonstration, she introduced and used SHILLS Magical Hair Volumizer and SHILLS FLUFFY FIX Maximizing Hair Volume Spray to enhance hair volume and created a very trendy and nice hairdo for both the female model and SHILLS Dust It on the male model.
SHILLS Magical Hair Volumizer not only helps to volumize hair, it also has tsubaki oil which will improve the hair texture. She then used SHILLS FLUFFY FIX Maximizing Hair Volume Spray to create the finishing look the hair and set the hairstyle. SHILLS Dust It is very suitable for people with short hair as it’s a powdered form of volumizer and it’s easy to apply and create the look on your own.
The last demonstration was meant for those struggling with dark spots and dull lackluster skin. She demonstrated products like SHILLS WHITE Anti-Dark Spot Whitening Serum and SHILLS WHITE EX Whitening and Brightening Cream on the model together with massage techniques to firm the face. I noticed one side of the model’s face is more firmed as compared to the other side without massage.
She also introduced SHILLS Moisturizing & Whitening Cold Gel Mask which will help to cool down the temperature of the skin as well as whiten and more radiance to the skin. She did a before and after test on the skin temperature and it really has the effects mentioned. She ended the demonstration with the use of SHILLS WHITE EX SPF 42 PA+++ Sunblock Whitening Hydra-Foundation 21 to give the model a matt finish.
During the second session, she shared with us demonstrations on slimming, removing black heads and anti-aging.
For the slimming demonstration, she was also able to help the model reduce her arm size by 3cm. This really made me very convinced of the efficacy of the product.
Judy demonstrated the efficacy of SHILLS Black Gel Deep Sebum Softener, SHILLS Purifying Peel-Off Mask and SHILLS Pore Minimizer Clarifying Toner for ladies who wish to be rid of clogged pores.
SHILLS Black Gel Deep Sebum Softener is first to soften the blackheads and white heads.
Apply a thick layer of SHILLS Purifying Peel-Off Mask around the face and leave it on until it dries.
Remove the mask by peeling it off with an upward motion. The mask is really effective in removing the white and black heads.
The next step was to apply SHILLS Pore Minimizer Clarifying Toner to tighten and minimise the pores.
The last step was to apply mask for hydration and whitening effects. This sheet mask was really amazing as I could see the model’s face lighten by 1 tone after using the sheet mask.
Last demonstration was on intensive skin repair. Judy demonstrated the use of benefits of SHILLS 8Hrs Skin Recovery Essence, SHILLS 8Hrs Skin Renewal Cream and SHILLS 8Hrs Moisture Cleansing Oil. The model has quite good skin so I wasn’t able to tell the difference in the before and after.
To be honest, I was pretty amazed by the live demonstrations she did as I could see very visible results. I received 2 products for review which I’ll be sharing later in my blog.
